Our Story
The name “Nekopi” comes from combining “Neko,” the Japanese word for cat, and “Pi,” inspired by coffee. It was inspired by our personal black cat, Neko, who became the foundation of our brand identity and logo. Black cats carry different meanings depending on the country some see them as lucky, others as unlucky and just like that, how people see you depends on where you place yourself and how you choose to present yourself. The addition of “Pi” gives the name a unique, catchy twist while still reflecting the warm and creative spirit of our coffee shop.
